Biography

Mr. Fahy was born in Santa Barbara, California. He attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara, and graduated cum laude in 2004 with degrees in History and Political Science. Before beginning his legal education, he worked in Washington, D.C. for now-former Senator Rick Santorum (PA).

Mr. Fahy studied law at the Pepperdine University School of Law, in Malibu, where he worked as a research assistant for the former Dean, Kenneth W. Starr, participated in several competitions with the Interschool Appellate Advocacy program, served as a Note & Comment Editor for the Pepperdine Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship, and the Law, and published an article on the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Ledbetter v. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. 550 U.S. 618 (2007). He was elected to the national oral advocacy honors society, the Order of the Barristers, and obtained a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & the Law from the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship & the Law. He graduated in May of 2009 and was admitted to the state bar and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in the fall of 2009.

Mr. Fahy began his legal career at Harrington, Foxx, Dubrow & Canter LLP, where he worked as a summer law clerk and then as an associate. He practiced general civil defense litigation on matters including bad faith, subrogation, construction defects, premises liability, and general negligence litigation. In addition, Mr. Fahy practiced heavily in the Trusts & Estates arena, gaining extensive experience in the drafting of wills, trusts and related documents, and probate and trust estate administration. He also researched and advised clients on the ever changing federal estate tax landscape.
