Mr. Glucksman is a partner of Chapman, Glucksman, Dean, Roeb & Barger which has offices throughout California. Mr. Glucksman is an AV Preeminent Rated Lawyer with Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating available. He has been named “Super Lawyer” for over 10 years. He is well known in the business and construction and business legal community for his representation of builders, developers, general contractors and business clients.
Mr. Glucksman attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in history. He earned his juris doctor degree from Loyola Law School.
Mr. Glucksman specializes in complex multi-party litigation, including business, real estate and construction, environmental, commercial and catastrophic event litigation.
Mr. Glucksman is admitted to the State Bar of California, U.S. Supreme Court, United States District Court and Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Mr. Glucksman served as the National Co-Chair for numerous conferences, including, HB Litigation Construction Litigation Conferences and Mealey’s Construction Forums for Business Leaders. He has also served as a profiled speaker and panelist at various seminars including AEI-Brookings Construction Defect Seminar, Association of Southern California Defense Counsel Seminar, CPCU Society Annual “All Industry Day”, DRI’s Construction Litigation, IMN Construction Seminar, IRMI Construction Risk Seminar, Lorman California Mold Conference, MC2 Consultants Construction Seminar, and West Coast Casualty Construction Defect Seminar.
Mr. Glucksman has also been a featured speaker at various chapters of the California Society of CPA’s and Area discussion groups. He was a featured speaker in 2014 for the Actuary Leadership Forum at California State University, Fullerton, Center for Insurance Services. In 2015, Mr. Glucksman served on the faculty for the American Law Institute (“ALI”) Continuing Legal Education’s Building Green & LEED Certified: Negotiation, Drafting and Execution Strategies webcast. In December 2016, he was a featured speaker at ExecuSummit Inaugural Construction Defect Claim’s and Litigation Strategies, which was presented in Connecticut.
In 2016, Mr. Glucksman received The Legends of an Era Award presented at West Coast Casualty’s 23rd Annual Construction seminar. It recognizes those in the construction community who have contributed, advocated, influenced others for the betterment of the construction community.
Mr. Glucksman has authored many articles which have been featured and quoted in publications including The Los Angeles Daily Journal, California Real Estate Journal, Builder and Developer Magazine, ABA’s The Construction Lawyer, The Southern California Builder, California Real Estate Journal and many preeminent publications including Lorman and Barclays. He co-authored an article, Arbitration Update: An Overview of Recent California Appellate Decisions, published by the California Lawyer (December 2015). In 2016 and 2017, he authored articles for AmWins The Edge including Arbitration, OSHA the Shared Economy (“Share, But Be Aware: Growing Up With the Sharing Economy”), The New EPA Undergroup Storage Tank Regulators: A Compliance Primer.
