Ms. Verdon was born in Newport Beach, California. She graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Minor in Business. In 2010, she graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California, where she earned her Juris Doctorate Degree and Certificate in Dispute Resolution. While at Pepperdine, Ms. Verdon was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, as well as served as a senior staff member on the Pepperdine Law Review and authored a Comment titled, International Travel with a “Digital Briefcase”: If Customs Officials Can Search a Laptop, Will the Right Against Self-Incrimination Contravene This Authority?, 37 Pepp. L. Rev. 105 (2009). She is admitted to the State Bar of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit.
From 2014 through 2018, Ms. Verdon was selected as a Super Lawyers Southern California “Rising Star,” for her demonstration of excellence in the practice of law, which is an honor limited to no more than 2.5 percent of California attorneys.
